  1. The keyhole screws and bumpers may already be installed in your keyguard. If so, navigate to step 3. Align the keyhole screw with the threaded hole on the keyguard. Make sure not to thread the screw in crooked!

    • Use a 5/16 inch wrench to tighten the screw until it is flush with the surface of the keyguard.

    • Install the remaining keyhole screws using the same procedure.

  2. Remove the adhesive backed rubber bumpers from the sheet they came on. Adhere each of the bumpers to the back of the keyguard aligned with the back of the screws.
    • Remove the adhesive backed rubber bumpers from the sheet they came on.

    • Adhere each of the bumpers to the back of the keyguard aligned with the back of the screws.

  3. First familiarize yourself with the components of the Beyond Adaptive Elastic Strap System.

      • Your Keyguard may arrive with the Keyhole screws and/or rubber bumpers pre-installed

      • Keyhole Screws

      • Elastic Straps

      • Keyhole Clips (part of the elastic strap)

      • Rubber Bumpers

  4. Place the keyguard on your device.  This example shows a Beyond Adaptive keyguard designed to work with most iPad cases.  The case shown is the Griffin Survivor. Place one keyhole clip end of the elastic strap over the keyhole screw as shown. Adjust the straps as necessary to make the straps tight on the case you are using.

    • Place one keyhole clip end of the elastic strap over the keyhole screw as shown.

    • Adjust the straps as necessary to make the straps tight on the case you are using.

    • Place the keyhole clip on the other end of the elastic strap on the opposite keyhole screw.

    • Repeat for the second strap.
